On behalf of the Board and 150+ Blessings Abound volunteers, thank you for your support in 2016! We had a fantastic year and the ministry continues to grow.
Because of your generosity, 2016 was a year of tremendous growth in our mission to help those in need through the resale and redistribution of donated items. Our ministry supports food distributions, permanent housing for homeless individuals, cross-cultural ministry, annual Christmas stores, home repair and numerous other poverty-relief ministries through the KC Metro.
Blessings Abound has many local partnerships, including Safehome, Ozanam Pathways, Kim Wilson Housing, Happy Bottoms and others. BA also continued our support of MLM’s 32 housing units for individuals with disabilities, as well as the furnishing needs of Learnin g to Earning and MLM case management clients. We value these ministry partnerships and look for continued growth in 2017.
Our donations and store traffic grew significantly in 2016 and with it, more volunteers from all walks of life. As a result of this increased support, our financial contributions to MLM and LUMA grew significantly.
I’m confident that 2017 will bring an increased awareness as to the needs of those around us, and BA volunteers will respond ready to serve as Called. Thank you for your generosity and continued support!
