At the end of February, we learned that the Call we extended to a DCE was declined. We are all disappointed, and yet, we still trust that this is the Lord’s church, not ours, and that he is still leading and guiding us through this process. This past week, the Call Committee reconvened to begin work on the next round of this process. We are currently searching the Concordia University system for recent graduates or interns, as well as collecting nominations from the congregation for this position. If you know of anyone who may be a good fit for us, please submit your nomination by clicking the link below or by filling out a form available at each campus and submitting it to the church office. So that we can continue to move forward in this process, we ask that all nominations be received by March 23. Shortly after that time, the Call Committee will begin to examine the profiles of these candidates and move forward.
