Brick Works: A Kid-Focused Family Friendly Service Project

June 6th – July 11th – August 8th | 10- AM at the Hollis Picnic Shelter

We are introducing something new this summer, called BrickWorks. Throughout the summer we are inviting families to help us give back, and experience the joy of working together as a community to serve others. We are partnering with the The Giving Brick, which is a Kansas City based non-profit that collects used LEGO bricks, repackages sets, and gives them children served by CASA of Jackson County.

During our Brick Works service hour, we will sort through donated LEGO bricks and break apart already assembled LEGO pieces. At the conclusion of the hour, all will be treated to popsicles. All attendees are also welcome to bring sack lunches, and explore the trails & hills of Hollis, play a game of GAGA ball, or sand volleyball. http://www.holliscenter.org/brick-works-1.html
