Sunday Worship – October 4
Joy That Cannot Be Imprisoned
Call Committee In-Person Candidate Visit
The Call Committee is pleased to share an important update in our search for a third pastor. Over the past several months, the committee has been prayerfully reviewing candidates, conducting evaluations, and narrowing the list of potential pastors. We are grateful for the congregation’s continued prayers and encouragement as this process has moved forward.
3 Days • 3 Organs • 3 Concerts
The congregation is invited to attend a special series of organ concerts presented by the Greater Kansas City Chapter of the American Guild of Organists. This unique event showcases three outstanding performances on three remarkable instruments over three consecutive evenings, October 26, 27 and 28.
October Mercy Mission
For the month of October, the priority need is Pumpkin Pie Filling and Canned Cranberry Sauce. Donations can be placed in the blue barrels at either campus.
Welcome Freshmen!
As a way to welcome new our new members to high school youth group, Beth asked current and former members what they would have liked to know before joining the high school youth group. The advice that was gathered was thoughtful, enlightening, and amusing.
