Dr. Anna Myeong

Dear friends,

I started my organist job at Trinity on the first Sunday of September, 2005. It has been an incredible eleven years with you all. As a church musician, I have learned more than I could have ever imagined. I am truly grateful to all the Trinity members. All of you have showed true Christian love to me and my family. To be honest, my organist job has not always been easy at Trinity. Whenever I had hard times, your cards, flowers, and words of encouragement helped me go through all the difficulties.

Trinity Church will always hold a special place in my music ministry and in my heart. The last eleven years will be the most important period in my life. I was able to finish my study at the University of Kansas earning both my master’s and doctoral degrees, and at the same time could build up my career as a concert organist. The Trinity faith community was also such a gift to our family. Mooyoung, Seokwon, and Grace have grown their faith through Sunday school and practiced their faith as volunteers as acolyte, AV tech, worship musician, and for our great KC garage sales.

What a big surprise on my last day at Trinity! I was overwhelmed by the many blessings, cards and wonderful gifts. However, it was hard for me to have that day. Thank you for preparing a beautiful reception!

I will leave Trinity Church full of gratitude. I am especially thankful to the pastors, Roland Boehnke, Lee Hovel, Vern Oestmann, Ron Flentgen, and Mark Schulz for their mentorship and encouragement. I am also grateful to all past and current church staff. Once again, I’d like to say “thank you” to all Trinity members!

Please keep our family in your prayers. Just as the Apostle Paul prayed for the people in Ephesus, I pray for you. “I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love towards all the saints, and for this reason I do not cease to give thanks for you as I remember you in my prayers…”

Sincerely,

Anna Myeong
