Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
I am writing to inform you that I am resigning from my position as Trinity’s Director of Music and the Arts effective after Sunday, January 10. Stephanie and I did not come to this decision lightly but believe the time is right for me to devote my full-time energy and passion into professional choral conducting, focusing more energy on the Spire Chamber Ensemble, composing, and guest teaching/lecturing. I am so grateful for the past 10 years at Trinity and all the wonderful experiences, memories, and most importantly the amazing people who have supported me and my ministry among you.
I will always carry what I have learned in my time at Trinity with me for the remainder of my career. While my heart is sad our formal journey is coming to an end, I sincerely hope our relationship can continue and will always hold a special place in my heart for the beautiful people of Trinity Lutheran Church.
