The Confirmation Retreat is finally here!
We will be gathering at Foundry Church in Lenexa near Sar-Ko-Par Trails for a one-day retreat THIS Saturday, March 6, from 10am to 7pm. If you have not yet done so, please take a moment to register for the event.
The cost to attend is $50, you may pay via check or simply click on the link below to pay online! We never want finances to be an obstacle for students to attend! If this is a concern, please reach out to me (Beth Stephens), Pastor Mark, or Pastor Phil.
Students can expect to spend some time in Bible Study and learning about Church Community. They will also be able to play some games with the added bonus of an indoor gym, a rock-climbing wall, a nice park next door, and for the evening- a safely contained fire pit! Make sure to fill out the attached waiver in order to participate in the climbing wall!
We ask that all students bring their Bible, a sack lunch, and shoes that are suitable for participating in the gym, outdoor, and rock-climbing wall activities. Last but not least, they should come with a positive attitude and ready to have TONS of fun all while learning and growing more in God’s Word!
Parents
There are a few spots left to sign up to help with the dinner meal. Thank you so much for all that you do! If there are any students who have food allergies, please let Beth know ahead of time so that we can make the appropriate accommodations for dinner. We will be having sub sandwiches, chips, and dessert-yum!
