Now that Pastor Ben has left Trinity and begun his ministry in Lincoln, Nebraska, many have asked me what we are going to do next. My sense is that we should take some time to evaluate our needs as a congregation and then move forward with staffing decisions based on those identified needs. To this end, we will be providing you with opportunities to prioritize what you perceive to be our ministry needs at this time in Trinity’s history. This information will then be compiled and used to guide us in our next steps. Watch future editions of the Messenger and the eNews for specific information regarding opportunities to provide your input. I am pleased to announce that during these first months of pastoral vacancy, Pastor Tom Van Duzer, recently retired from Our Saviour Lutheran Church in KCK, will be providing ten hours of assistance per week. Watch for information introducing Pastor Tom to the congregation in future communications.
