At the Congregational Assembly on January 26, we introduced a congregational vacancy survey and asked attendees to rank nine ministry directions based on perceived importance. The survey was then made available to the rest of the congregation as well. A total of 116 people completed the survey over the past weeks. Two of the nine ministry directions were ranked significantly higher than the rest, being listed as of first , second, or third priority on nearly two-thirds of the submitted surveys. Those two ministry directions are:
- Additional educational opportunities and support groups for adults, including young marrieds, parents, divorced, grief, empty-nesters, etc.
- Focus on ministry to millennials and young marrieds.
This information will be passed along to the Call Committee which will be appointed soon by the president of Trinity’s Executive Committee. Please continue to pray for God’s guidance as we move forward as God’s people to call another worker.
