Do you desire to CONNECT with Jesus on a deeper level and learn how to live out your faith daily in all situations? Do you desire to CONNECT with your family and become better equipped to share your faith with one another? Do you desire to CONNECT with your church family and build Christian relationships?

If so, we are trying something NEW and EXCITING for Summer at Trinity – CONNECT Summer Sunday Mornings. We will meet during the Sunday School hour from 9:45 – 10:45 each Sunday to CONNECT with one another and grow in our faith together. This is an intergenerational study where we will build relationships with one another, families are equipped to share their faith with their children, and we experience ways to daily live out our lives as His disciples in this world around us together.

CONNECT will take the place of our Summer Sunday School programs of the past. Parents and children will come together alongside others in our church family. (We will not have separate children and youth Sunday School.)

Here is the final schedule for August:

Lego Service Project

Lego Service Project is sponsored by The Giving Brick, who share: “We are huge LEGO fans and think all kids should have access to this awesome toy.” The mission of this non-profit agency based in Roeland Park is to recycle used LEGO bricks by re-creating official LEGO sets and donating them to children in need. These sets are donated to places like the Jackson County, Missouri, CASA agency whose staff shared that LEGO sets are the number one gift request and the kids that received them were thrilled.

From the Youth Group

Potluck Brunch with LVR and NYG Presentations

Bring your favorite breakfast items to share, enjoy fun and fellowship, and see a special presentation from Trinity youth. They will share information about their summer trips to LVR and NYG, how these trips grew and strengthened their relationships with one another and in their faith, the fun adventures they participated in, and the friendships they developed with other Christian youth.
