With the current environment, we are unable to host our regular, amazing Trunk-or-Treat event but we would love to offer something FUN for children and families as an alternative.
We have found an alternative and would love your help. We would like to offer an “I SPY” drive-through event. We need your help with decorated trunks or displays using the Pumpkins and Scarecrow theme. Here three ways you could create a display:
-
Decorate your trunk with pumpkins and scarecrows as the theme or incorporate these items into your display in a creative way. You can stay with your trunk and wave to families as they drive through, (MASKS ARE REQUIRED), OR you can leave a decorated vehicle and come back to pick it up when the event is over.
-
Parking Lot Space Display – create a fun display using the theme. You can set it up and leave or stay to wave at families. (MASKS ARE REQUIRED.)
-
Live Action Display – You and your family could do an interactive “Live” display in which you are actually a living part of the display throughout the event. (MASKS ARE REQUIRED.)
Pick ONE item in your display that could be listed as an “I Spy” item. For example – find a pumpkin, a straw hat, a blue button, a spider web, etc. We will ask that you provide us with this item idea prior to the event. As families enter, they will be given an “I Spy” list for the displays. Once they spot the item in a display, they will check it off their list and move on to the next display. They will turn in their list at the end of the drive and receive a goody bag of treats.
Please join us in making this a fun, exciting alternative to Trunk-or-Treat and provide a much needed activity for families this Halloween season.
