Senior ministry and 50+will be hosting a “meet and greet” on September 15th beginning at 10:30am. This year the location will be off-site and at the Overland Park Arboretum. The Arboretum is located at 8909 W. 179th Street. The cost of entering the arboretum is $3.00 per person. Trinity will provide a box lunch to enjoy while partaking in fellowship amongst the flowers. Everyone will need to provide their transportation to the event. If you wish to go and are unable to secure a ride, contact Tom @ tom@tlcms.org and he will try to find you a ride. If you are able to provide a ride for others, let Tom know as well. Since we are providing lunches, please let us know if you will be attending by sign-up sheets, email, or online.
This event is for all seniors nearing, at, or beyond retirement. The botanical gardens are gorgeous display of flowers in a wonderful setting. Make plans to join us in the beautiful outdoors. As we must do in all if pandemic conditions dictate, we will adapt to the situation. I hope to see you on the 15th.
