Trinity’s Graduate of the Week is Lauren Kellogg. Lauren is a 2020 graduate of De Soto High School. She plans to attend Kansas University to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Lauren aspires to become a Nurse Anesthetist. When asked where she sees herself in five years, Lauren knew exactly what she would be doing. “I will be living at home with my family and working toward my BSN at KU. I hopefully will be in my first year of clinical work inside KU’s simulated hospital situation, opposed to mainly textbook curriculum.”
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight” Proverbs 3:5-6. This bible verse has become an important part of Lauren’s faith journey, and also happens to be her Confirmation Verse.
“Lauren, we are so happy for you and excited to witness all the blessings God and your Christian Faith have bestowed upon you. Graduating De Soto High School Summa Cum Laude is quite the accomplishment-and is only the beginning of your bright future.”
