Trinity’s Graduates of the Week are Claire, Aubrey, and Wyatt Hofstetter. They are 2020 graduates of Mill Valley High School.
Claire will be attending Pittsburg State University next fall and pursuing a degree in nursing with a minor in psychology. She is looking forward to starting a new chapter at Pittsburg State. Claire is excited to set off on her own, take classes that interest her, and pursue her career choice. “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you” Deuteronomy 31:6. This Bible verse represents Claire’s faith and is her chosen Confirmation verse.
Aubrey will be attending the University of Kansas Nursing School to become a Pediatric or Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Nurse Practitioner. “After graduation I am looking forward to college activities such as rush week, living with my friends in a dorm room, and studying abroad.” She is also excited to figure out the next chapter of her life and see where school and nursing will take her. “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us” Romans 5:8. This Bible verse has become an important part of Aubrey’s faith journey and is also her chosen Confirmation verse.
Wyatt will attend the University of Kansas for business next fall. His favorite memory from high school was winning State in football. “And you, my son Solomon, acknowledge the God your father, and serve him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches every heart and understands every desire and every thought. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will reject you forever” 1 Chronicles 28:9. This verse resonates with Wyatt and his faith. This is also his chosen Confirmation verse.
“Even though your senior year hasn’t ended as we expected, you’ve worked so hard and should be celebrated! We are so very proud of you. We are truly blessed to have watched you grow into such amazing young adults.”
