Each year the quilters of Trinity’s LWML group as well as LWML ladies all over the country make quilts, baby care kits, personal care kits, and school supply kits for Lutheran World Relief. These quilts and kits are sent all over the world to help people in need who suffer poverty, distress, and disaster.
On Tuesday, August 4, the explosion that occurred in Beirut, Lebanon, destroyed more that $600,000 worth of these items. Lutheran World Relief (LWR) is asking for help in responding to the crisis in Beirut. For more information and to help, visit LWR’s website below.
