COST Cost to attend is $10 per person or $30 per family. Get $10 off by bringing a pot of chili to share and enter in the contest.
WHO CAN COME?… EVERYONE! Bring Your Friends & Family. Festive mood suitable for families.
SO…KIDS CAN KIDS COME? YES! Yard games will be set up for kids. Open meadow for football tossing, bocce ball, kickball, Frisbee…
CHILI CONTEST Chili pots will be voted on by the attendees. The chili pot that raises the most money wins, giving the contest the adage: perhaps not the best chili wins but the best supported!
WHAT SHOULD I BRING? A pot of chili to share (or not) and a lawn chair (if you wish).
PAYMENT OPTIONS? Cash, check or charge.
CRAFT BEER? Yes! 23rd Street Brewery from Lawrence generously donates beer for us to enjoy!
HOMEMADE PIE? You betcha! Lovingly crafted homemade pies and baked goods will be available to enjoy and bring home! Are you a baker and want to donate a pie? Bring it along when you come! We might serve it or we might auction it off! We LOVE pie!
LIVE AUCTION After chili contest is over, live auction will begin at 5:30. This lively auction is fun to watch and participate in! Featured auction items have included vacation packages, photo sessions, The Kansas City Steak Company steaks, handmade furniture and much much more!
