Seventh Grade Teacher

Hope Lutheran School in Shawnee, KS, is seeking a full-time Seventh Grade Homeroom Teacher with a main focus in math for the school year 2023-2024 who:

• Is a practicing, professing Christian, active in his or her own Christian congregation.

• Delivers comprehensive MATH instruction, infusing classroom discussion with inquiry-based methods, using a designed curriculum and assessments.

• Proves knowledge of middle school pedagogy and the developmental needs of early adolescents.

• Must have good classroom management skills.

• Be flexible to teach other subjects if needed.

• Holds a current Kansas Teaching License, or in the case of out-of-state licensure, make an application to the State of Kansas at the time of hire.
