Have you ever wondered how that favorite hymn of yours came to be written and what the background story of it is? Friday, September 9, at 2pm in the Mission Sanctuary, Ben Spalding will answer your questions. The writing, instrumentation, and history of many of our hymns is fascinating. Do you know the back story to Silent Night and other favorites? Ben will research and tell the story of these hymns and then we will enjoy singing them. Tell Ben or Tom Perry the name of the hymn you want to know more about and then join us on the ninth. Let us know the names as soon as possible so Ben can hit the books.
