Living the Gospel Life

We are Christians on a mission, even in the season of Lent! The daily devotions in this booklet highlight the concepts of being sent, demonstrating faith in action, and being mission-minded each day of Lent. Suggested activities are associated with preparing our hearts, souls, and minds to reflect on the suffering, death, and resurrection of Christ and his mission for us.

The Saving Passion (Henri Nouwen)

Henri J. M. Nouwen, one of the most beloved spiritual thinkers of the 20th century, wrote about the saving passion of God’s Son in a way that has captivated and inspired readers the world over. Excerpts from Nouwen’s engaging insights are paired with original reflections and prayers in this booklet for each day of Lent, as we journey together through this season of sacrifice and marvel at the salvation our Savior won for us.
