The observance of the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation in 2017 will get underway at Hope with a presentation on “Luther and the Reformation” on Sunday, February 12, at 4:00 p.m. The guest lecturer will be Dr. Mary Jane Haemig, Professor of Church History at Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota. The topic of her lecture will be “Luther and the Reformation…Why It Still Matters.” Prof. Haemig is a specialist in the study of the Lutheran Reformation, serving as the Director of Reformation Research Program at Luther Seminary.
