COVID-19 has forced many plans to change. The most recent change for Youth Ministry at Trinity is our trip to LVR. Due to the efforts to minimize the spread of the virus, the camp has decided to cancel our week in June. I was, along with the rest of the youth attending, really hoping that we would be able to make this wonderful trip happen as it is a critical piece of our Youth Ministry here at Trinity. Not being able to go this year is a big disappointment, but we are encouraged that the God they meet in the mountains is the same God that walks with them each and every day, especially during this difficult time. I also know without a doubt that our youth at Trinity have wonderful faith role models in their homes and within our church community. For that I am thankful! Please keep the students, their families, and LVR in your prayers as we all adjust to the changes around us. Specifically pray for the LVR staff and leadership as they wrestle with keeping the camp up and running this summer without planned programming. We look forward to the day when we get to return to this wonderful place!
