Hello 8th Grade Confirmation students and families!
Most of you have already received your stole. If you have not picked it up yet, don’t fret! Email me and we can arrange a time to do so (beth@tlcms.org). Now the fun begins! I am including some ideas and guidelines on how to make your stole. Some of you may have been through this process already with an older sibling, or this may be a completely new experience. Either way it is a special time in your Confirmation journey, which is why we suggest that parents and students work on making the stole together. We ask that each student’s stole has their name and chosen Confirmation verse on it. Any additional designs that you and your family would like to include and think adds to your stole is welcome–you can be as simple or complex as you desire. If you have no idea where you want to begin in terms of decorating, I have included a few samples of what past students have done. The sky is the limit! I hope you and your family enjoy this time together and create some special memories around your Confirmation Milestone! As always, if you should have any questions, please let me know!
