11am and 6pm
Maundy Thursday, April 17
Mission Campus
As part of our observance of Maundy Thursday, 17 April, at the Mission campus, you will be invited to participate in handwashing before worship, in the fellowship foyer.
On the night before his death, Jesus set an example for his disciples by washing their feet, an act of humble service. He taught that strength and growth in the life of the kingdom of God come not by power, authority, or miraculous sign, but by such lowly service. Following our Lord’s example, you as the Body of Christ, are invited to have your hands washed as an act of love and humility.
Come early for the dessert reception at 11 am and 6 pm, then have your hands washed before entering the sanctuary for traditional worship with Holy Communion. Worship begins at 12 pm and 7 pm.
