Trinity is sending a group of six members to Guatemala this summer to continue work done in previous years. Last year, our group built a house. Years before then, members John and Jenny Peimann assisted with and created all kinds of aid for the people of Panajachel, Guatemala, and the surrounding region. This year we will be repairing two homes, working as best we can beside the Guatemalan people, most of whom speak Spanish, a few who speak old Mayan dialects. These homes are very small, concrete block structures. As our group leaves for the journey, we consider it pure blessing to be part of a church who draws closer to those struggling through poverty, both far and near. It’s a privilege to represent our church and our Lord Jesus. We’re eager to see what we’ll experience. Our six-member team consists of Trinity members John Peimann, Wayne Meyer, Jane Musgrove, Doug Lewallen, Dalton Lewallen, and Benjamin Vineyard. Our trip is from July 2 through 10. We look forward to sharing our stories when we return.
