As many of you may be aware during the COVID pandemic the requests to provide meals for those in need as increased. Metro Lutheran Ministry asked if Trinity would be willing to help them provide sack lunches and we agreed. We received a pallet of tuna on Monday, April 27. A pallet provides 996 tuna packets. There are several ways you and your family can be a part of this servant event:
Packing Event
We will host a social distanced packing event to pack bags or place tuna in provided bags on Saturday, May 9, at the Mission Campus. A sign up link is below. We will have four shifts of 30 minutes each from 10am – noon. Please note the following:
- Please maintain a 6-foot social distance with those outside of your immediate household.
- Tables will be disinfected between each session.
- Masks and gloves are required. If you do not have any, these can be provided for you.
- If signing up as a family, please sign up the total number of people coming. At this time, each shift may have nine volunteers in each corner of the parking lot. This will allow for the 10-person maximum when staff is included.

Monetary Donations – Please submit your donations by Monday, May 4, via the link below.
Fill Lunch Sacks – Fill lunch sacks with the items listed and deliver to the Mission campus by Wednesday, May 6 (See info in graphic above.)
Donate items to fill the bags – bring items from the Sack Lunch list to fill bags. DO NOT bring tuna, bags, or spoon/napkins as these items are already at Trinity. Please drop off donated items by Wednesday, May 6. Items may be left inside the entryway at the Mission campus.
The deadlines above will help us plan in the purchasing of any items still needed.
