9am-1pm
Mission Campus

Trinity is hosting national author and speaker Dr. Rich Bimler and Kansas District assistant to the President Jim Bradshaw in a special event. Rich will speak about the massive growth of seniors turning 65 nationwide and its implications for the individual congregation. Jim will speak about what is being done in the Kansas District and encourage seniors and congregations to get involved. There will be time for a panel discussion and a questions and answer period. Following the speakers, we will serve a box lunch and participate in a simple volunteer project.

The seniors at Trinity have become an example for other congregations. The Kansas district is trying to encourage similar intentional ministries throughout the district. Senior Ministry at Trinity is not limited to the 50+ Bible class. Our seniors play a pivotable role in the life of our congregation. Please make a point to join us, there is no cost for the Trinity family and lunch is included. I do need to have a count of people so that I can order lunch. You can sign up at each campus or online. If you have questions, contact me at Tom@tlcms.org.

Many will remember Rich Bimler from the time he served as a D.C.E. here at Trinity and he is looking forward to seeing friends he has not seen for quite a while. Rich is a gifted author, speaker and humorist who has authored over 17 books. Jim Bradshaw is the district coordinator for youth and children. He also has taken on the role of working with the recently formed Older Adult Committee of the Kansas district. Jim is also a gifted speaker.

Please join us for this very special event.
