The primary support for the ministries of Trinity is through your contributions made to the OneFund. The following video offers a glimpse of the many ways your OneFund offerings help to share the love of Jesus, and highlights the challenges before us in the year ahead. May God bless us as we seek to live as a “Community Following Jesus.”

Dear Members of our Trinity Family,

I am writing to you as I do each year at this time to update you on the finances of our congregation. Please know that I am praying for all of you during this challenging time. Thanks for all of your prayers.

When the pandemic and stay-at-home orders hit in mid-March, we saw a significant decline in offerings, which was certainly understandable. All of us had to make major adjustments in short order. Worship went from “live” to online in a matter of days. Since that time, many of you have adjusted the pattern of your giving to support Trinity’s ministries by mailing in your offering or moving to online giving. Those already set up for online giving have simply continued.

As a result, our offerings for April were strong and right at our projection for the month. However, we have not caught up with the “pause” in giving that occurred in the latter half of March. As a result, we are running about $50,000 behind our projected needs at this time. We understand that some of you have experienced reduced hours or even been furloughed or laid off.

We ask that you do what you can. (If you are experiencing a difficult financial situation right now, please know that due to the previous generosity of Trinity members there is a fund that has been established to assist with financial needs. Contact one of the pastors confidentially if you are experiencing this and need help.)

We did apply for the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). Our application was approved and we have received funding. This will enable us to meet our full financial commitments to all of our staff as well as help with utility and mortgage expenses.

If you are able, I am asking you to consider an additional gift to Trinity beyond your normal giving. Perhaps a part of the stimulus money you have received or will receive can be given to support God’s work at Trinity. Please consider making an additional gift by June 14.

The needs of people to whom we minister as a congregation are greater than ever. We are doing our best to respond to those needs with the compassion and love of Jesus. I am so thankful to be a part of our “Community Following Jesus”—now more than ever.

God’s Blessings!
Pastor Mark
