$10 per plant

Poinsettia orders are now being taken to beautify the Mission sanctuary for Christmas. The poinsettia, also known as the Christmas Star or Christmas Flower, originated in Mexico and was named after Joel Roberts Poinsett, the first US ambassador to Mexico and an amateur botanist. The beautiful flower has long been associated with Christmas. It symbolizes good cheer, mirth, and celebration. If you are interested in helping to beautify the sanctuary with this meaningful flower, please see the signup on the easel in the foyer. Orders are due by December 8. Poinsettias will be donated to home-bound members after Christmas.
