Originally invented by Shinichi Suzuki, this method of teaching violin is both simple and comprehensive. Typically students learn how to hold and maneuver the violin as well as train their ear to music. Listening to recordings is an important part of instruction. Reading music is subsequently taught as the student progresses. Trinity offers Suzuki lessons in partnership with instructor LaVonne McDaniel.
