Trinity’s January Congregational Assembly was held on Sunday, January 31, at 1pm via Zoom. Financial results were shared which showed strong contributions in December. Thanks be to God! Please continue your faithful support of Trinity’s ministries.
The major item of business was discussion and a vote on the proposal to undertake a capital campaign to raise funds to be used for expanding the current Shawnee campus facility. After a presentation and extensive discussion, the voters approved the capital campaign with 80% of the votes in favor. The capital campaign, led by the Steier Group of Omaha, Nebraska, will begin shortly and will be conducted over the next several months.
Al von der Linden, chair of the Pastor of Discipleship Call Committee, provided an update on the committee’s work. The Call Committee will begin interviewing several pastor candidates soon.
