In Youth Ministry, we strive to provide events and activities that encourage students in their relationship with God, each other, and the church. A critical component of these events and activities are the adult leaders who volunteer their time to support Youth Ministry. They are the ones who act as role models, cheerleaders, and guides for the students in a faith-centered environment. At Trinity, we are blessed with a community that values middle and high school students. Adults volunteer to lead high school students on Sunday mornings in Sunday School, Sunday evenings in Youth Group, and also participate in retreats and our week-long camp at LVR. Middle school students experience dedicated small group table leaders in Confirmation, great Lenten mentors, and chaperones for the retreat!

We are extremely grateful to have over 50 volunteers serve in Youth Ministry-THANK YOU!

Thank you for using the gifts, time, and energy God has given to you and sharing it with the middle and high school students. Thank you for showing them what it looks like to be a Christian adult who walks in faith. Thank you for being a centering point in their relationship with God.

God is faithful and good. He has prepared the people who will continue to lead or join our team this next year. I encourage all youth families and members of Trinity to pray for the people God is going to work through. These men and women might not be professionally trained, experienced, or confident in how God is calling them to serve; but they are always willing to extend a helping hand.  Pray that they trust God to do His work, that I support and encourage them, and together we serve the youth and their families well.

If you feel that serving the Youth Ministry through volunteering is something you would like to know more about, or you would like to join this amazing team, please reach out to me (beth@tlcms.org)  and I would be more than happy to chat with you about it!
