Dear Parents,

Help!   HELP!   HELP!

How many times have you cried out for help throughout these weeks of our New Normal?

Lord, help me be patient, kind, and understanding with my family, friends, and co-workers. Lord, help me with the challenge and frustrations of online school. Lord, help me to find ways to entertain my children all day especially when I need to work from home. Lord, help me to explain to my children what COVID-19 is and why we have to stay home and social distance. Lord, help me, and my family, find your peace through the loneliness and isolation from others. Lord, help me through the death of loved ones or friends. Lord, help me………………………

If you are like me, you have asked the Lord for a lot of help lately. Believe it or not, that is a wonderful thing. Our Father covets our prayers, He wants us to turn to him in all things, and He promises to be with us through the bad and the good.

This week we will hear that Jesus knew we would need someone to help us, someone to help us remember His precious word for our lives. He promised to send us a Helper and that Helper comes to us through the gift of the Holy Spirit – our helper, our guide, our comforter.

We can turn to the One who loves us for help and guidance. The Holy Spirit lives within us and He is always there for us to give us faith, hope, and strength. Turn to Him, trust in Him, lean on Him, and know His peace.

Your Trinity family is here for you! Please know I am always here to pray with you, to cry with you, to lend a listening ear, to share a laugh with or whatever you need. We ARE the church, we ARE Easter people, and we continue to give God worship and praise – even in the midst of difficult times. We come together in new ways to worship and serve letting the Holy Spirit guide us in these ways. We know, and trust, that the God who loves us so much He sent Jesus to be our Savior is with us and through it all God will be glorified.

We continue to be here to encourage, equip, and guide you as you are the “Light of Christ” for your children, family, friends and neighbors. Here are some ideas/tips/resources to help you lead by faith with your family. Please feel free to contact me any time if I can serve you or your family in any way.
