On December 8 the annual Youth Group Progressive Dinner and Gift Exchange will happen once again! The high school youth will travel to three different homes for appetizers, main course, and dessert. At the final stop, they will also have a white elephant gift exchange. It is encouraged to find something from home that you don’t have to purchase. If you do buy something, it should not cost more that $5. This event will be a lot of fun, and a great way for us to celebrate Christmas with our group! Meet at the Shawnee campus.
Sunday night youth group will be on break starting December 15, and will start back on January 5.
This year, the youth are encouraged to follow “A Jesus Centered Life” (@ajesuslife) on Instagram. Beginning on December 1, we will be going through Advent and we will use these reflections for our Advent devotions. Students are also encouraged to use the printed copies of the congregational Advent devotions, if they prefer.
