Trinity’s Fall Kickoff Picnic was enjoyed by many. What a beautiful day for a picnic. The weather was great, and the fellowship was phenomenal! Thank you to all who helped make the event a success. We look forward to next year, as the picnic will become an annual event for Trinity, where we will kick off our fall ministries by gathering together for fun and fellowship.

Mini Grant Awards
For over 10 years, the Missions Committee has sponsored a Mini Grant Program to fund a limited number of service and ministry projects, each with a maximum amount of $2,500. See which grants were awarded!
This program financially supports projects and programs where Trinity members are already involved. The Committee encourages proposals from youth in the congregation, as well as proposals for smaller amounts.
LVR Recap
Four Trinity Students participated in the Kansas District High School Summer Camp at Lutheran Valley Retreat! See the recap video! The week focuses on team building challenges, Bible study, and enjoying the beauty of the Rocky Mountains. Trinity participates in this event each year and we encourage all of 8th graders to go because of the significant faith-impacting experience.

Guest Speaker Deb Hartje June 29
Deb Hartje, a former DCE at Trinity, will be speaking during the educational hour in the fellowship hall at 10am, Sunday, June 29. She will be telling us about ICOA, Immanuel Community Outreach Association. ICOA is a recipient of one of Trinity’s Mini-grants.
The Athanasian Creed
As Trinity Sunday approaches on June 15, let’s take a look at the Athanasian Creed. The Athanasian Creed is one of the three ecumenical creeds confessed by the Western Church and is found along with the Apostles’ Creed and the Nicene Creed at the beginning of our Lutheran Book of Concord. The primary focus of the Athanasian Creed is to teach and confess what the Church believes about the doctrine of the Trinity.
Wear Red for Pentecost
On the weekend of June 7-8, the Day of Pentecost (fifty days of Easter and ten days after the Ascension), the clergy wear red vestments to signify the work of the Spirit. It is also a custom in many churches for the people in the congregation to wear red on the Day of Pentecost as well. We invite you to wear red on Pentecost Sunday to remind us of the fire of the Spirit.

Two Lines Pregnancy Clinic 2025 Walk for Life
Messy. Scary. Impossible. That’s where we meet mothers, in the chaos of unplanned pregnancies. When everything feels overwhelming and nothing aligns with their plans, we’re here – offering clarity, support, and compassionate care. Would you partner with us and say “We’re with you” by becoming a Walk for Life donor? Our Walk goal is to raise $200,000 to empower women, men, and families to choose life. On Saturday, May 31st, nearly 1,000 people will come together to walk two miles for one mission! We would love to have you join us for this fundraising and community event.
