Trinity Lutheran Foundation
As Christians, we are called to be good stewards of the gifts God has so generously given us. We are also called to support the work of the church. Trinity Lutheran Foundation was established in 1986 to support the mission goals of Trinity Lutheran Church and to reach beyond with financial support of other ministries as we work together to grow God’s kingdom.

Our Mission

Reach Mission Goals
To aid Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in reaching its mission goals as provided by the benefactors in their bequests.

Invest Assets
To invest assets in the best manner possible with fiduciary responsibility in mind.

Other Ministries
To assist other ministries (individuals and organizations) in need that are not reached through Trinity.

Initiate Fundraising
Initiate fund raising for future assets to facilitate contributions from those wanting to leave heritage gifts to the Foundation.

What is the Foundation?
The Trinity Lutheran Foundation was established as a tax-exempt corporation in 1986 to provide a means for members and friends of Trinity Lutheran Church to set aside funds that would support the mission of the church long after their death. While the Foundation is part of the overall ministry of Trinity Lutheran Church, it is not controlled by the governing body of the congregation. The Foundation is a separate corporation with its own board of directors.
Foundation membership is through donating a minimum of $10 to the Foundation, or by informing the Board of Directors that the Foundation will be receiving funds from their estate, trust, or life insurance proceeds. The Foundation is a qualified 501c3 Corporation, and all donations are tax deductible.

The Foundation is governed by the Foundation Board of Directors, a five-member board elected by the membership at the annual meeting. The Treasurer is appointed by the Board to oversee Foundation investments. Other committees may be appointed as needed to manage the affairs of the Foundation.

Jamie Miles, President
Jamie has worked within healthcare for Johnson & Johnson and Cerner Corporation (Oracle), where he has been involved in company sponsored charitable foundations as well as volunteering activities.
He is passionate about ensuring that all endowments are used directly as the donor intended.

Denny Hixson, Vice President
My objective in life is to honor Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior, by serving other Christians using the abilities Our Father has given me. I am a retired CPA with over 35 years of experience serving on non-profit boards and 20 years serving on church boards and committees. I would encourage all of our members to consider the Trinity Foundation when working on your estate planning.

Bill Guerry, Secretary
As a member of the board of the Trinity Lutheran Foundation, I’m blessed to be involved in decision making process to help provide financial support for the many Christian organizations and groups, whose purpose is to help meet the needs of our community. It’s through the generosity of all who support the work of the Foundation that we’re able to provide this help. I pray that God will continue to inspire each and every one to become supporters or continue your generous gifts so this important work can continue. Blessings to you!

Erin Beech, Treasurer
Erin has served on the Foundation since 2019 and prepares the Foundation’s financial statements so the Board can make informed decisions. She enjoys seeing how the generosity of donors pays off in big ways to further God’s Kingdom.
