Youth Ministry 2025–2026: What to Expect
At Trinity, our youth ministry is shaped by Jesus’ love and guided by our values of UP (faith), IN (community), and OUT (service). In order to better serve and instruct students in their fiath walks, we are making some fresh updates to our programming.
Middle School Kickoff Game Night

High School Back-to-School Bash
Saturday, August 17 | 5:00–8:45 PM | Hosted at Beautiful Savior – Olathe

New Member Class
If you or someone you know is interested in joining our “Community Following Jesus” here at Trinity, please email Pastor Luke (luke@tlcms.org) or Pastor Mark (MWood@tlcms.org) to let them know of said interest. They will be forming a new member class that will meet for four weeks.
Great American Giveaway July 26
The Great American Giveaway is back! July 26, 2025, Mission Campus Parking Lot | Volunteer Setup: 7-8am | Donations: 7:30-9:30am | Giveaway: 10-11:30am | Volunteer Pack-up: 11:30am-12:30pm
Any monetary donations will benefit the Mission Community Food Pantry.
MLM Christmas in July
Metro Lutheran Ministries (MLM) needs your help in making Christmas a little brighter for the 1,000 families who will be shopping at the Christmas Store. Please help by taking a tag from the Christmas Palm tree in the narthex and bringing a gift by July 31.
Colossians Sermon Series for July and August
In a world filled with noise, distraction, and competing truths, how do we stay centered? What does it mean to truly live a life where Christ isn’t just part of the picture, but the very center of it all?
Join us this summer as we journey through Paul’s powerful letter to the Colossians. A book that lifts our eyes to see the absolute uniqueness, supremacy, and sufficiency of Jesus Christ.
Confirmation Registration
We are excited to start another year of confirmation classes! To help us prepare, please follow the link below to register your enrollment for the new season. This year, we would like to get to know your student as you register. Please include a photo and short bio of your student in the registration form. Confirmation class is open to all students beginning sixth through eighth grade who would like to learn more about faith and what it means to be a Lutheran Christian. Please register by August 10th.
Youth Gathering Blessing – July 13
Members of the team attending the gathering are invited to come forward during worship to receive a blessing for the trip. This will take place just before the final benediction in the 8:30am service at the Shawnee Campus and during the announcement time in the 11am...
Summer Hymn Sings
July 5-6, August 2-3, and September 6-7
5:30 pm and 11:00 am services Mission Campus
We will begin our worship together with a Hymn Sing on the first Sundays of July, August, and September (5:30 pm and 11:00 am services, Mission campus). This is a great opportunity to sing your favorite hymns of the faith, led by our Music Minister and Organist, Lara West.
Mini Grant Awards
For over 10 years, the Missions Committee has sponsored a Mini Grant Program to fund a limited number of service and ministry projects, each with a maximum amount of $2,500. See which grants were awarded!
This program financially supports projects and programs where Trinity members are already involved. The Committee encourages proposals from youth in the congregation, as well as proposals for smaller amounts.
