Wear Red for Pentecost

On the weekend of June 8-9, the Day of Pentecost (fifty days of Easter and ten days after the Ascension), the clergy wear red vestments to signify the work of the Spirit. It is also a custom in many churches for the people in the congregation to wear red on the Day of Pentecost as well. Alaska Mission Team Update

Thank You!Thanks to all of you who took part in the Ash Wednesday Soup Supper at the Shawnee Campus! I heard the food was delicious and there was great fellowship. Many of you ate before the service and many of you took soup-to-go. We estimate that we served approximately 150 people and sold approximately 80 quarts of soup.
