Summertime Hymn Sing

We will begin our worship together with our first Summertime Hymn Sing for the summer on June 23! This is a great opportunity to sing your favorite hymns of the faith. Our Director of Music and the Arts, Ben A. Spalding, will lead this inspiring hymn sing and we’ll use specific verses of the hymns you suggest that morning so we can sing as many selections as possible. If you have a favorite hymn, plan on sharing it that morning as we join with the heavenly chorus in praising our wonderful Creator!

Preschool Year Wrap-Up

The Preschool’s theme this year was based upon Isaiah 43:2 – When you go through deep waters, I will be with you.

In this passage, God is talking to the Israelites and referring to their journey out of Egypt. Note that the word “when” is used, not “if.” Trials in life are inevitable but we have this promise: God will be with us, He is for us, so who can be against us?

At Roar VBS, kids will explore God’s goodness, and celebrate a ferocious faith that powers them through this wild life. We all know life for kids can be wild, and not always in a good way. Life can be unpredictable, unsteady, unfair, sad, and sometimes scary. Roar VBS will teach kids that when life is crazy, God is good!Roar VBS is filled with incredible Bible-learning experiences that kids see, hear, touch, and even taste. Alaska Mission Team Update

Thank You!Thanks to all of you who took part in the Ash Wednesday Soup Supper at the Shawnee Campus! I heard the food was delicious and there was great fellowship. Many of you ate before the service and many of you took soup-to-go. We estimate that we served approximately 150 people and sold approximately 80 quarts of soup.
