On Sunday, June 30, Trinity celebrated DCE Day in worship. Blessed with a rich tradition of eight DCEs (Director Christian Education) in our history, including our current Rhonda Synovec and Beth Stephens, we welcomed other DCEs in the area to a special worship service and potluck luncheon. We are so very thankful for their far-reaching ministry impact.
At our 11 am service, we were able to celebrate and recognize the lifetime ministerial work of Eldor Kaiser and Les Schmidt. These two servants of the Gospel, have a combined 102 years of influential ministry at the parish, district, and synodical levels. We give thanks to God for the many gifts and talents that he has blessed his church with, through these two men.
