Over the last seven years, I have come to believe in LUMA’s vision to help the fullness of the Gospel become a reality among the diverse cultures, generations, and communities of greater Kansas City. For this reason, I am accepting the call to become the next Executive Director of Lutheran Urban Mission Agency.

The newly formed call committee for the Lead Pastor at the Mission Campus will meet for the first time this coming weekend. Please pray for the committee as we get to know each other and become familiar with the call process.
Nominations are open for two-year terms as Vice President, Treasurer, and Member-at-large of Trinity’s Executive Committee. Nominating forms are available in the foyer at both campuses. You may also fill out an online form. Completed forms are due by May 31, and the election will be held at the Congregational Assembly on June 23.

Work continues at the Shawnee campus. Windows are being manufactured and the final work to seal up the roof is in process. The new entrance to the sanctuary is being framed inside so that area can be sealed off when the current exterior wall is opened up. Additional steel beams will be added to the original exterior wall soon.
