Shining Jesus' Light in the WorldWe had a “Stellar” summer at Trinity this year with 155 participants, and over 60 volunteers, attending VBS. We learned how we can “Shine Jesus’ Light” in the world around us. We are truly grateful for all who helped make this event such a blast through your generous donations.
"Shake It Up" Café
Summer Bible Study Experience
“Shake It Up” Café was our summer Bible study experience. This event was a way for families to spend time together, create delicious recipes and memories, as they explored food, Bible stories, meaningful discussions, and service projects together.
We also had a contest for those who participated with our “Pie A Pastor” event. Every post on our private FB page entitled the children to get a closer throw for this event.
Fall Kickoff was Sunday September 10 at our Mission and Shawnee campuses. We closed our “Shake It Up” Café event with make-your-own, healthy banana splits. Food, fun, and fellowship was the focus for our kickoff event. There were bounce houses, games, and other activities as families gather to begin our year together. Thank you to our amazing Children’s Ministry teams, Gloria Garrelts, and Julie Ashie for helping to make the event a success.
The “Pie a Pastor” event closed out our morning as our “Shake It Up” Café participants had an opportunity to throw a pie at either Pastor Luke (Mission) or Pastor Phil (Shawnee). We are grateful for our pastors who are so willing to participate in our ministry activities. They were great sports and the kids had so much fun.
