What an amazing summer it has been in Children’s Ministry at Trinity! From Mega Sports Camp Summer Sunday School to ROAR VBS, we have had wonderful opportunities to grow in our faith while learning that we can live out our faith in everything we do in our daily lives. Find out what we are up to!
Sunday May 19, 9:45 – 10:45, Both Campuses
Join us as we celebrate the end of another school year and journey into summer. We also celebrate our amazing Shepherds who have shared God’s Word with us throughout the year. Food, fellowship, and fun activities for families will fill our time together.
At Roar VBS, kids will explore God’s goodness, and celebrate a ferocious faith that powers them through this wild life. We all know life for kids can be wild, and not always in a good way. Life can be unpredictable, unsteady, unfair, sad, and sometimes scary. Roar VBS will teach kids that when life is crazy, God is good!Roar VBS is filled with incredible Bible-learning experiences that kids see, hear, touch, and even taste. Every part of VBS helps children discover how faith can flow into real life. Kids will also discover how to see evidence of God in everyday life.
The youth will be serving Easter breakfast at both campuses again this year. This breakfast is a fundraiser that enables youth to participate in retreat experiences that strongly help them grow in their daily walk with Jesus. Proceeds will benefit those who are attending our summer trip to Lutheran Valley Retreat in Colorado. Thank you for your support of our youth!
The youth will be providing a pasta bar lunch for the congregational assembly meeting on January 27 as a fundraiser to benefit the group going to Lutheran Valley Retreat camp in the summer. The meal will be set up downstairs at Shawnee from Noon-1pm.
Epiphany, Sunday, January 6, 9:45 – 10:45am
Children’s ministry families, mark your calendar! At both campuses children are invited to wear their jammies to church this morning during the Sunday School hour! We will continue the Christmas story with a special event telling the Epiphany Story–the Journey of the Wise Men–to meet baby Jesus.
