While the Trinity Choir had its summer break, the Sunday morning traditional services at Mission were blessed by a variety of musicians who shared their gifts in worship. We give thanks for their service!
Fundraiser Concert Celebrating KC Women
On Sunday, August 30, at 2 pm, at Trinity’s Mission campus, join us for a concert entitled KC Women: The Legacy of Music by women composers from the Kansas City Region. No admission or minimum donation is required, but a free will offering will be taken for the Kantorei KC Outreach Program. Musicians include several Trinity section leaders.
Our Saviour Music Conservatory Launch
Our Saviour Lutheran Church invites you to celebrate the launch of Our Saviour Music Conservatory on Wednesday, August 19, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm, at 4153 Rainbow Blvd. in Kansas City, Kansas. Guests are invited!
Choir Director Position Available
Trinity Lutheran Church (LCMS) in Mission, KS, seeks a new Choir Director for the Trinity Choir. This position involves selecting and preparing choral music for Sunday morning services, festival worship services, occasional hymn festivals, and our highly anticipated annual Advent Lessons and Carols.
Volunteer Musician Invitation
While our Trinity Choir takes a break during the summer months, volunteer musicians are invited to help lead worship. If you would like to explore the idea of sharing your musical gifts during traditional services at Trinity’s Mission campus, please contact Lara West.
Jazz Service for Pentecost
On Sunday, May 24, at 8:30 and 11am at the Mission Campus, our Pentecost Sunday worship will feature a jazz trio: Tim Brewer on bass, Doug Talley on saxophone, and Ben A. Spalding on piano and vocals. They will lead us in worship utilizing elements of sacred jazz, both lively and prayerful. Come celebrate the Spirit on Pentecost with inspiring music and worship!
