The Missions Committee has sponsored a mini grant program for over ten years to fund a limited number of Trinity members’ service projects and ministries, funding an average amount of $2,500 per applicant. Eight organizations were awarded grants this year by a subcommittee of Trinity members who reviewed the mini grant requests submitted in June. Through your generous contributions Trinity is able to have a significant impact in our community and beyond.

July 28, 6:30-8:00pm, Lower level of Shawnee Campus, Snacks and Treats provided | Two weeks ago, a group of high school students and adults went on a Mission Trip from Trinity. We are hosting a “Share Night” for the students and adults to share about our trip and how God worked through the time we spent in South Dakota.

The Missions Committee is again sponsoring a mini-grants program to fund a limited number of Trinity members’ social service/ministries projects/programs. Each mini-grant will have a maximum amount of $2,500 and will be awarded on a selective basis. The online application form will go live on June 1. Applications will be accepted June 1 – June 30. Awards are expected to be made by July 31, 2024.

The Kansas District of the LCMS is spearheading a project for all congregations in the district to join in a service event. Trinity will be participating through three projects in April. Watch for more details to come.

Embark on an impactful mission trip to Rapid City, SD, open to current 8th-12th grade students from June 23rd to 28th. This experience promises a blend of community service, cultural immersion, and collective worship and growth.

The Guatemala Mission Team is heading to Chuchipaca February 25-March 2 and are in need of donations for their trip. Please consider donating your gently used button-up or zip-up women’s sweaters as well as women’s shoes (flats, size 6 1/2 or smaller), children’s shoes of all styles and sizes, and over-the-counter medicines like pain relief and cold medicine for children and adults and Metamucil.
