Faith at Work: April 13th

9am-Noon

A service project for all ages, stages, and abilities!
The LCMS Kansas District is starting an initiative to encourage schools and churches to spend April serving together. Trinity is going to participate in three projects. Check the age requirements for each project, but for every project, minors need to have a parent/adult with them.

Serving Opportunities

Neighbors Helping Neighbors

Serve our community by accomplishing house/lawn maintenance projects for our neighbors! This project could be a variety of chores depending on the needs. Meet at Trinity’s Mission campus.
Best for adults who have some knowledge of tools and minor house repairs.
Participants must be over the age of 12.

Argentine Park Cleanup

Help Immanuel KC serve in their neighborhood by cleaning up a local park. Meet at the Snack Shack, 3112 Strong Ave., Kansas City, KS.
Participants need to bring work gloves, and lunch is provided as part of the serving opportunity!

Children must have a parent present serving alongside them.

Kits for People Experiencing Homelessness

Help support people who are experiencing homelessness by assembling kits with food and supplies they need. Meet in the fellowship hall at the Mission campus.
Great for families to do together.
