A Prayer for Guidance and Protection

Prayer for the Kansas District Week at LVR

Almighty God, who knows everlasting life, grant us knowledge of Your Son, Jesus Christ, to be the way, the truth, the life. Be with the students, leaders, camp staff, and drivers for our upcoming week at camp. Be with the Kansas District preparations as we lay the groundwork for a faith-impacting events for Kansas high school students. Be with the camp staff as they prepare for not just our week of camp, but a full summer of children and students experiencing their faith in a whole new way in the mountains. Give them strength and peace in the midst of a busy summer. Be with our transportation drivers, give them safety and wisdom as we travel with them. Be with the 90 students. Help them cast aside the distractions of their day-to-day life and be able to soak up this special week of summer. When nerves and fears try to infiltrate their mind, remind them of your presence in the midst of it all. May we all learn more about what it means to “Be Still and Know.” May we all seek to follow in His footsteps as we steadfastly walk in the way that leads to eternal life, through the same Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
