What it’s all about

Trinity is called to be “A Community Following Jesus.”  Are you ready to take the next step in your journey of following Jesus by joining with us in this community?  New Member Classes are being offered soon!

The purpose of the class is three-fold.  First, that you have a chance to get to know your pastors better.  Second, that you have a chance to get to know other new members who are joining Trinity at this time, and build relationships in the body of Christ.  Third, and most important, is that you get to know the Lord Jesus better through this class.  We will read through the entire gospel of Mark in this class and talk about what it means for you to follow Jesus together with other members of Trinity.

For these reasons, we ask that all new members go through this membership class as they join Trinity, whether you are new to the faith, or a life-long Lutheran.  Rest assured, no one is put on the spot.  Everyone has a chance to have their questions answered, and to dig deeper into God’s Word.

Classes will be offered at both campuses, and you can attend class at either campus regardless of where you typically worship.  Classes will be offered at the Shawnee campus on Wednesdays, October 11, 18, 25, and November 1 from 6:30-7:45 or at the Mission campus on Thursdays, October 12, 19, 26, and November 2.

Classes

Membership classes take place quarterly at each campus and are led by one of the pastors. Classes meet once a week for an hour and a half for four weeks. Class times and days of the weeks are conveniently scheduled based on the availability of those attending.
