Set the scene at Stellar VBS!
Stellar VBS captivates kids with rugged moonscapes, colorful constellations, and lunar landers! You can help transform Trinity into a gorgeous galaxy with easy-to-make items like comets, portholes, mission control panels and many other items that will give our space an “out of this world” appearance. No special skills required! If you can use scissors, glue, paint and other simple tools you can be a part of this fun crew!
Make Decorations
Make large stage, and other, decorations that are shared with area churches throughout the VBS season.
We will begin May 22 at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Leawood. We will work during the day Monday, May 22, through Thursday, May 25, starting at 9am. You can join in whenever it fits your schedule.
Transport
Transport materials and decorations:
1. We will need to transport a number of large items from Trinity’s Mission campus to Lord of Life on May 22.
2. We will need to transport decorations from Christ Lutheran Church on Friday, June 16, to our Shawnee campus. We will meet at Christ around 12:30pm.
3. We will need to transport decorations from Trinity’s Shawnee campus to Trinity Mission campus following VBS on Friday, June 23. We will begin at 12pm.
Decorate
Decorate at Trinity:
1. Shawnee campus decorating will begin Monday, June 12, until completed. We will decorate rooms, hallways, entrances and other areas.
2. At the Shawnee campus, set up large “up front” stage in the sanctuary following 11am worship.
3. Mission campus decorating will begin Wednesday, June 28, until completed. We will decorate rooms, hallways, entrances and other areas.
