There will NOT be classes in person on Sunday morning in children and youth ministry. Instead, this will be something families of all ages can do together throughout the summer, whenever their busy schedules allow.
We want to equip families to talk about, and experience, their faith together.
We will provide recipe ideas for both your dish, and your faith discussions. You can make a dish/meal together using our recipe, or one of your family favorites, and then share in faith conversations as a family over that meal.
Each week will offer a new Bible story, memory verse/Bible point, discussion questions, and service opportunities.
We are providing special meal kits with surprise items needed to be a “chef,” our special recipe cards, care
pans and other items for you to get started.
REGISTRATION WILL BE REQUIRED! This will help us know how many kits to make and supplies to provide. Register through the link below.
Throughout the summer you will receive videos from Chef Combo, staff members and teachers. WE WANT TO SEE YOUR VIDEOS TOO! Videos/pictures can be posted on our “Shake It Up Café” Facebook page. This is a closed group so these will only be seen by our group members. We want you to post often. Share your time in the kitchen, share what you learned, share how you helped others, etc. At the end of the summer, all those who posted will be receive an entry in our “Pie the Pastor” contest.
