Mission Grant in Action: Supporting Missionary Kids at Concordia Mission Institute
This summer, Trinity Lutheran Church’s Missions Committee helped make a lasting impact through a grant to Concordia Mission Institute’s (CMI) Kids Camp—a vibrant and faith-filled program designed especially for missionary kids (MKs). We celebrate the ways God is working through Trinity’s mission support and thank you for being part of this ministry to missionary families around the world.
Shawnee Building Dedication – Thank you!
It was a long time in the making, but the day finally arrived! After years of dreaming, planning, and construction… after collecting suggestions, financial support, and lots of dust we were able to celebrate in our new space on Sunday October 20th. Thank you to everyone who made it such a special occasion!

Pastor Mark Wood Accepts the Call
We are delighted to announce that Pastor Mark Wood has accepted the call to serve as Lead Pastor – Mission Campus for Trinity. The call acceptance was officially announced in worship on October 6. Please pray for Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Kansas City, Kansas, as they embark on the journey to call their next pastor and pray for a smooth transition and productive and effective ministry for Pastor Mark Wood in our midst.
October 20 Building Expansion Dedication
Trinity Lutheran Church joyfully invites you to the dedication of the new expansion at our Shawnee Campus on Sunday, October 20, at 1pm! Join us as we celebrate this exciting milestone with a special dedication ceremony. Following the dedication, stay for a delicious award-winning BBQ meal prepared by Trinity’s own Chris Cox, and enjoy live music from Brandon Draper and the Shawnee Praise Band.

Beth Stephens Begins Kindle Training
Beth Stephens began a two-year leadership program in September called KINDLE. This two-year program engages second-chair ministry leaders who have five or more years of experience serving in a congregational setting. She is excited to begin this program and share with the congregation!
Trunk or Treat October 27
Sunday, October 27, 4:00-5:30, Mission Campus | So many fun activities and goodies for kids and adults of all ages! Trinity Youth will be serving a fundraiser dinner during the event. Bring canned goods to support Mission Community Food Pantry. Invite your friends, family and neighbors! Much help is needed for this community event!
Congregational Call Assembly for Lead Pastor – Shawnee Campus
The Call Committee for Lead Pastor – Shawnee Campus, with the approval of the Executive Committee, is recommending a candidate for extending a call. Please join us at the Shawnee Campus on Sunday, October 13, at 1pm for a congregational assembly to vote to extend a call.
MLM Holiday Food Drive
The holidays are coming! Please bring food to help others through Metro Lutheran Ministry.
Grocery sacks are being  distributed on Sunday. Please use these sacks to bring food to church by Sunday, November 3.
