September Sermon Series: “The Work of the Holy Spirit”
This September, join us at Trinity Lutheran Church as we embark on a powerful new sermon series exploring the life-giving work of the Holy Spirit. Rooted in the third article of the Apostles’ Creed and Luther’s Small Catechism, we’ll reflect on how the Holy Spirit: calls us to faith, enlightens us with truth and grace, sanctifies us for holy living, and and keeps us in the one true faith.
Message from the Executive Committee
There are three items from our August 25, 2025 meeting that we wish to highlight for you: 1. Your church needs you. 2. What are your thoughts about Thanksgiving services? 3. Loan refinancing coming up. As always, please seek out and get to know your EC representatives offering your input and feedback.

Call Committee Update: Interviews Continue
The call committee interviewed one pastor last week and we will be requesting an on-site visit with this candidate with a date to be determined. We had a second interview scheduled that week with another candidate, but we were not able to conduct it due to a personal emergency. We have rescheduled this interview for the week of February 16. Please continue to pray for us and the candidates in this process.
Bold Prayers Sermon Series
Most of us would agree that prayer is good and important to our faith. We have a desire to grow in our prayer life and in our relationship with God. In this five-week sermon series, we will be looking at various prayers in the Bible to find encouragement and examples on how to pray bold prayers with big faith.
Congregational Assembly
Our Congregational Assembly will take place on February 2nd this year at 1 pm on Zoom.
Join us online as we continue to be “A Community Following Jesus,” as we hear reports and updates from the staff and our call committee. Come find out what’s been going on at Trinity and what we have to look forward to the rest of the year.
Call Committee Update
The call committee met last week and identified a list of candidates we would like to interview. We have contacted those candidates and will start our virtual interviews the week of January 19. Please pray for the committee and the pastors we will interview for God’s guidance in this process.
Souper Bowl of Caring Collection
Nearly 100 million Americans are expected to tune in to watch the Super Bowl. Many of them will be hosting or attending parties with abundant food, friendship and fellowship. At the same time, nearly 1 billion people will be hungry. Please join us in remembering the hungry this Super Bowl—and bring soup or any food items for The Mission Food Pantry housed at Trinity.
Bring your food items to church by Super Bowl Sunday, February 9!
