Blessing of the Backpacks August 10
August 10, 8:30 and 11am services at both campuses
Students and teachers of all ages are invited to bring their backpacks with them to worship on August 10th. At the end of the children’s message, we will bless the backpacks and pray for all those returning to school this year.
Noisy Collection August 10
The next noisy collection will take place on Sunday, August 10, at both campuses. Please bring your loose and “noisy” change and deposit it in the buckets on your way into the sanctuary for worship. The money collected will go to purchase school supplies for Rushton Elementary School.
Congregational Assembly to Extend a Call
The Mission Call Committee has completed the site interview process and has recommended a candidate to the Executive Committee for a divine call to Trinity as the Lead Pastor – Mission Campus. A voter’s meeting has been scheduled for September 15 at 1pm at the Mission campus to consider the call committee’s recommendation and vote on issuing a call to the pastoral candidate recommended. Please continue to pray for God’s guidance throughout this process.
Shawnee Campus Call Committee August 29 Update
We have extended invitations to two pastors for onsite visits and interviews. Both are currently considering divine calls from other congregations. We are waiting to hear the outcome of these calls to know if they will come for a visit. Please continue to pray for our call process and for God to lead these two pastors where His will is for them.

9:45am Bible Study Topic: Angels

This group will be be starting a study on the topic of Angels created by Marcha Fassold. It will be interesting to discuss facts about angels and the myths we have heard.
Mission Call Committee August 15 Update
The first pastor candidate for the Lead Pastor – Mission Campus will be visiting Trinity Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, August 17-19. He will be meeting with the Call Committee on Saturday morning and the Executive Committee on Saturday afternoon. He will be meeting with staff members on Monday afternoon.
Construction Update – August 15
Road construction continues at the Shawnee campus. Curbs, sidewalks and the main entrance from Midland are being poured as the weather allows. Rain is changing the schedule daily.

Shawnee Campus – This Sunday, August 11 between 8:30 and 11:00 services | Join us for a “Donut Worry” Social hour. God has a plan through all these changes so let’s trust in Him…and eat donuts! Join us between services, 9:45-10:45, for donuts, beverages, and fellowship.
Shawnee Call Committee August 8 Update
We are pleased to announce that the Shawnee Campus Call Committee met this week and has successfully narrowed down the group of candidates for in-person interviews. We are now in the process of scheduling these visits and developing the interview questions. We look forward to the next steps in this exciting journey.
New Online Giving System
Trinity is rolling out some exciting changes and the first one happens now! Trinity is switching away from VANCO for our online giving and moving to Pushpay. Pushpay is the parent company of our Trinity Cloud system. Because of this merger and transition, you will experience greater control over your giving.
